About
Our Philosophy
On any journey, whether it is fitness, mental health, or spiritual growth, I learned the same lesson. You cannot focus on one area and ignore the rest. The human experience is holistic, and when you over give in one part of your life, the others pay for it. I built SOI to help people create a life that aligns with their best self, one that leaves them energized instead of drained.
There is a lot I cannot control, from politics to loss to the way the world shapes us. What I can shape is my mindset and the energy I bring to my mind, body, and soul. SOI is a place to make those choices on purpose, so your life becomes a reflection of who you are becoming.
That change does not stay with one person. When someone lives in alignment, they inspire the next person to begin their own journey, and a community grows kinder one person at a time. I believe that means more art, more compassion, and more kindness. I started SOI to begin that in my own community, with people who know who they are and use the power of "I am" to create lives that serve themselves and others.
Philosophy in action
Last December, our community raised $200 and turned it into 30 care packages for neighbors in Chicago facing the extreme cold. Each one held gloves, a hat, hand warmers, socks, fruit, and water. We built them together in one afternoon, and it became one of my favorite days. I use each holiday season to serve instead of simply spending, because SOI is about living on purpose, not on autopilot. Serving others feeds the soul, and it feeds you in return.
